I don’t doubt America can steamroll into Mexico and crush it in a few weeks. America’s really good at that.
Problem is, keeping the peace afterwards is ten times harder. And America has historically not been terribly good at that.
That is bat shit insane that it is even a thing…but hey Germany also invaded neighboring countries in the 1930’s so he’s just following his plan I guess.
***From Kevin Maurer and Asawin Suebsaeng for Rolling Stone:***
Trump is serious about breaching Mexico’s sovereignty to target cartels — and Team Trump is drawing up attack plans, officials say.
Just don’t call it an invasion.

Uh Oh…. Nobel Peace Prize at Risk!
He learned from netanyahu, start a war to stay in office and avoid prosecution for his many crimes
Remember Trump wanted to shoot a missile at the Mexican cartels in his first term. He had competent people in his administration then, who told him no. Now he only has yes men so who knows what he will do.
Punishing Mexico because they didn’t pay for his wall.
He’s seen too many movies. We’re going to launch special forces raids that get civilians killed and escalate retaliatory violence without actually destroying the cartels.
But the US news won’t cover the inevitable civilian casualties so it’ll be perceived as a success.
Canada will be next after Mexico, I’m sure.

Think it’ll work?
Epstein files please
Epstein.
Going into Mexico against cartels would be a repeat of Afghanistan, except we’d be dealing with cartels that have actual US weaponry and partial state backing due to corruption in Mexico. It would likely be a bloodbath.
I heard he is in the Epstein list.
The odds are quite high that they will actually invade New Mexico.
Every story is a distraction. Release the Trump files.
Sure, invade a country where the standing insurgency is turbo hard-as-fuck. We are going to see viral videos of captured soldier Johnny Iowa getting his face peeled off and then raped by dogs.
Release the fucking Epstein files.
I would honestly laugh if we fought another war with Mexico and they took Texas back.
This simply might just be to distract the news cycle from the fact the pedophile in chief is on the Epstein List
It’s a strange situation because I’m pretty sure every military in the world has a plan for every other country in the world as training exercises and war games. I would be surprised if somewhere the Canadian Military doesn’t have a plan to invade New Zealand, at least as a joke (Operation Maple Kiwi). But with Trump’s America there seems to be a sincerity about it.
I thought he was the “No New Wars” president.
Should be drawing up plans to release the Epstein files
Release the trump files! The world needs to know all of the terrible things epstein and maxwell did while working for trump’s trafficking operations.
It’s kind of interesting to see the Republican Party simply sitting back doing absolutely nothing to control or hinder Trump on his run to conquer our democracy. It is possible that they are all profiting from this ? Who is managing the offshore accounts?
What a crime to destroy the nation for money
But of course. Nothing screams, “we aren’t fascist scum, ” quite like invading a long-standing neighbor and trade partner.
Oh, by the way, Trump is a pedophile.
If we would have just legalized and taxed drugs these cartels would have lost their cash cow long ago.
Is the Epstein List in Mexico?
