Hello everyone! I am partially Belgian but living in the U.S. as a student, and have a slightly odd request if anyone is able. For a maths project, I want to calculate the volume/surface area of a bottle of Cécémel, but there are no measurements online and I can't get one delivered. If anyone here with direct Cécémel access could track down a 200ml GLASS (very important) bottle and let me know:

– The length/height of the bottle

– The width of the base

– The width of the cap

You would be my hero! Thank you so much to anyone who reads and responds to this- I've done a lot of work for the project already and it would make my day if someone was able to help me out!

Merci/Danke,

Sebastian

  1. You also need to know the curvature, so an vertical cross section of the vertical outline

  2. Thickness of the glass not needed.

I have only cecemel in rectangular bricks.

  3. I don’t have any cecemel but I do know that the same bottle is used in the Dutch chocomel (it’s the same brand under a different name) so if Belgians don’t give you an answer the Dutch could perhaps help. Good luck!

  4. If you reply to me on Tuesday, as a reminder, I’ll measure it for you. If you got the time

  5. I’m going grocery shopping tomorrow, I’ll try to remember to bring a ruler and take some pictures for you if they have them in store.

  6. I really like the phrase ‘direct Cécémel access’. 😂

  7. I wish you luck, what a cute and fun project! I hope people get you your measurements! The Fristi bottles used to be the exact same shape, I wonder if they still are.

  8. Didn’t they switch over to plastic bottles a couple of years ago?
