Ah yes, driving inflation further due to inflation.
I’ll never understand why companies have the right to unilaterally raise the price on existing contracts. Same goes for rent prices of houses / apartments.
My provider added a 1 Euro increase this year and apologized profusely for it. Has to be said: It was the first price hike in 10 years time 😉
> ECB shouldn’t overreact to temporary inflation spike, Lagarde says
Sept 2021
> The ECB currently works to achieve an inflation level of “below, but close to, 2%.” Going forward, the official inflation goal will become 2% with overshoots allowed
But don’t worry, this inflation isn’t actually a problem, just an overshoot, which is allowed now.
They knew what was coming, and chose to adjust their mandate, instead of adjusting fiscal policy.
And that’s another reason why i left Telenet.
Good services, over the place prices
i hate the telecom sector of this country so much, and i have little faith that the government is going to change anything anytime soon.
‘we will make the prices go down by introducing a 4th player in the 5G space’…
Ok that’s a start, but nowhere near making any significant difference.
The biggest problem isn’t the cellphone networks, its the cable networks where there are still only 2 options max anywhere in this country. Owned by 2 giants that have dominated the market since the beginning, that have friends in every group of people that could contain their power, and that (agreed to?) stopped competing against each other somewhere 15 years ago.
And no the fiber network isn’t solving this any time soon i fear, we all know the existing 2 players will end up owning or bankrupting them eventually.
+ Its not available for most of the country, and wont be for many years.
My wage got indexed at 2%. Weird.
Gotta feed those American fat cats who have a majority stake in this company.
I’d rather keep my money inside this country by paying a local internet provider.
They should first get their coverage better. In a lot of areas it is just terrible or non existent.
Fml, switched to telenet last month :(.
And independent directors get payed more.
Big yikes, en toch gaan de meeste klanten wss niet weg bij telenet.. ze zouden dat beter doen want telenet moet eens voelen hoe kut duur ze niet zijn. Duurste van heel europa fzo
Why are there so many people defending Telenet in this post ? I mean Free just said they wouldn’t raise the prices for 5 years in France. Telenet is evil
I’m one of the first clients that had yugo. They changed that to flow a few months back with a guarantee that we would be able to have the same services (or even more) for the same price for the next 2 years.
I’m curious how they are going to handle that….
Weeral? Die “Jaarlijkse prijsstijging” bij telenet is precies 12 keer in’t jaar.
