Within her price bracket, Brooko says house viewings are more likely to serve up mouldy walls and knee-high piles of rubbish than the humble one to two-bedder she is looking for.
“I feel like I have done the right things,” she told A Current Affair.
“I went to uni, had a really solid career for the past decade, and I’ve sort of slowly worked my way up and now I look around and I can’t afford anything.
