I adore these stray cats, but sometimes I feel like they were abandoned by their owners for some reason, and I feel bad for them. There is one cat that I see regularly at the same spot on my way to work, and I give her some food from time to time, but I feel guilty about not being able to help more.

Doesn’t roll of the tongue as easily as werewolves of London but I’ll give it a go…….
Very likely not stray. It’s common practice for people to let their cats outdoors in the UK.
Edit. They look far too well kept to be stray. Definitely just their owners letting them outdoors. I’d encourage you not to feed someone else’s cats.
Is #4 doing press-ups?
They aren’t stray! They all look like totally healthy, very normal cats living their best lives outside. I’m not sure what it is about them that’s given you any concerns at all? Give them a pet by all means, but don’t give them food — they are very obviously well cared for.
I’m a Londoner but live elsewhere in Europe and have a rescue cat. Very common to see them on the streets but rarely are they strays. I won’t put a collar on mine because she climbs and it could get caught and strangle her. These look very contented cats to me!
What’s No.4 doing? 😂
They 95% of the time won’t be strays. Just outside cats living their best lives. They’ll pop back home when they’re hungry or bored of adventures and scraps
They are not strays. All look healthy and well looked after. Most people in the UK have cat flaps so that their cats can come and go as they please.
Lovely cats. Definitely well too fed to be stray. Not sure where you are from but most cat owners in the UK let their cats roam about as they please, that’s why we have cat flaps 🙂 they’ll go out for a stroll and then come back home to chill and have their food and see their people!
Where was the first picture taken? He literally looks like our cat (who is not lost but with us!)
I had an outdoor rescue cat in London, he never went far. When we moved to the countryside his territory exploded, used to see him chilling in a forest 400m away. Finally he retired in the Swiss Alps with the in-laws. Got to 20 yrs.
