**Stiekem iets in je drankje en stiekem met een naald**

Spiking drinks with GBH and other paralysing drugs has been on the scene for years in Belgium and across Europe. I read that drink spiking is being replaced with spiking with a needle on exposed skin. It is discussed in the Dutch media ( I mean Holland not Belgium).

Is this well known by society in Belgium?

How does the government or police address this?

RUG newspaper investigation reveals that between 3 and 7 percent of students have been ‘spiked’ with drugs against their will

There are Dutch websites that sell drink test strips that can post to Belgium. I don’t think I can post the URL here.

  1. This comes off more as an attempt to find the best way of doing this instead of actual curiosity.
I have never heard or seen anything like this but I would hope that people who are caught in this bullshit would receive a thorough beating before being handed to the police to be followed with a trial for (attempted) drugging, kidnapping, rape and murder. Hopefully that would add up to several years in prison, people who do this should not have access to society.

  2. In my student years i worked in nightlife, if we caught these persons, the police were always conveniently late to the crime scene, and were “not surprised” the perpetrator fell down the stairs.
