CNBC Host WRECKS Elizabeth Warren’s Push for Mamdani’s Tax Plan

This is by far the most important question New Yorkers got to ask themselves. Rob, can you play the clip of Elizabeth Warren? Watch what she says about billionaires. Go ahead. And doing that by raising the most revenue possible without chasing businesses and the high income taxpayers out of the city cuz they can go to Austin, they can go to Dallas, they can go to Atlanta, they can go to Nashville. This is your issue. It’s a national issue, not a local issue. The issue is affordability. Do you know how many working families are chased out of New York City? The most important thing because they can’t afford housing. They can’t afford groceries. They can’t afford child. And it’s the billionaire’s fault. What Zoron is saying is, I want people to be able to afford to live in New York City. That’s what keeps it a vibrant city. That’s what makes people want to live. Nobody disagrees with that, but raising taxes in order to do it, why is that the answer? Oh dear. Are you worried that billionaires are going to go hungry? No, I’m worried that they’re going to leave and spend their money elsewhere. You know, they’ve threatened to do that over and over and they have. They’ve left. I mean, here’s the thing. And Goldman Sachs when they create new jobs, they do it in Dallas. Blackstone won’t build a new headquarters. You You want to have a workable city. You want to have a city that’s vibrant. You want to have a city where the streets are full, where there are things for sale 24 hours a day. Then you need people who can live here and work. We got that right now. By the way, I would point out New York is New York is is thriving. So right now it’s doing pretty well actually.

Elizabeth Warren breaks down the big question facing New Yorkers: How do we keep the city vibrant and affordable without chasing out billionaires and businesses? She argues the problem is affordability pushing working families out of NYC, blaming billionaires’ influence—but critics warn higher taxes might drive wealth and jobs to other cities like Dallas and Austin.

  1. Elizabeth Warren is talking from both sides of her mouth. Anyone worried about rent or a mortgage cannot shop the high dollar shops. Her brain is the size of a pea if she believes what she is saying. NY is a place for the upend shops. All together not a town for the ones with only dimes, such as myself. New York City is expected to be a costly town in the eyes of United States and the world. E.Warren should know

  2. If I were a billionaire, I would have already left the country and taken my money with me. I’d make my legal residence in a tax free country like Monaco then live in one country in the summer and another in the winter. All these liberal cities and states are in debt up to their eyeballs and their solution is to increase taxes. Well the top earners make up a disproportionate amount of the taxes and they’ll just leave.

  3. Since mamdami was rocketed into 1st place by about 16% voter turnout(mostly from socialist row) you'd better hope NYers turn out en masse to keep him from becoming mayor

  4. shes being told what to say. who listens to a woman complaining about the wealthy who herself is a millionaire.

  5. People can’t afford housing not only due to the high prices, but also the high interest rates and insane property taxes. She’d know that if she were middle class

  6. thats the only thing they ever say…billionaires need to pay more.. look into they DO pay more. They always try to act like its a zero sum problem…if billionaires dont pay more taxes you will…sheesh c'mon…

  7. Meanwhile Pocahontas is worth hundreds of millions of dollars she has accumulated on a $200k/year salary. She desperately wants higher taxes so she and the rest of her fellow Democrat criminals can finance their vacation homes with taxpayer money. She always mentions Elon Musk's name but NEVER George Soros. And we all know why that is.
