Emergency services were called to New Beith Road in Greenbank, Logan, about 42km from Brisbane, following reports of a single car crash shortly before 10pm.
The driver of a Volkswagen Amarok was found with critical injuries.
The 31-year-old driver died at the scene.
His two male passengers, aged 36 and 35, were taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating the crash.
