    Meanwhile zelensky continues to advance Ukraine’s defense production and international agreements. I keep reading about new weapons deals and deliveries from Europe.

    I’m thinking that Ukraine is in a stronger position than 1 year ago. Even if they lost some land, their defense industry is growing daily.

  38. Trump’s short term peace goal at Ukraine’s expense just to be known as the peacemaker is doing untold damage to democracy and western values. He seeks to pick on ‘most vulnerable’ target (which he sees as Ukraine) in an attempt to appease Russia because he thinks he can bully Zelensky, not Trump. The fastest, easiest and cheapest way to peace, in his short term mind.

    Anyone who is in any doubt that the current president of the USA is an autocrat dictator should wake up and smell the roses. America is no longer the leader of the free world with this monster in charge.

  41. In an unprovoked attack, Russia invaded another sovereign country. There needs to be a punishment for that. Russia should have to cede Russian territory to Ukraine.

  44. It’s an insane demand by Putin, because this area includes the heavily urbanised Sloviansk-Kramatorsk axis. There hasnt been any real urban fighting since the initial Russian offensive (Bakhmut is a much smaller town than these two).

    Fighting for these two cities has the potential to be a huge mass grave for Russia. Ukraine will not give up this strategically important place.

  46. So what was the summit for? Nothing trump “negotiated” would have been acceptable to Ukraine. What was the point? Ukraine didn’t ask us to speak for them. It was a cover for something else or if it wasn’t it was a truly pointless meeting and we allowed someone with a warrant for war crimes to walk on our soil and leave again. Was this a photo op for trump to show how presidential he is meeting with just about the only foreign leader who will stand next to him anymore? Pathetic and sad. Servant trump needs to RELEASE THE FILES.

  47. I’m so tired of this performative bullshit. This was the obvious answer; Zelenskyy was not going to respond any other way to this. Why does the US need to degrade itself in rolling out a literal, not figurative, *literal* fucking red carpet for a dictator, for them to jack each other off in private and then tell the world the same fucking thing that Putins been saying since he started the war in the first place.

    What changed as a result of the clown circus?
