As the prospects of peace talks loom, civilians in occupied territories keep anxiously hoping for one thing: that their cities and lives won’t be abandoned to Russia’s illegal presence.
After Ukraine’s successful 2022 counteroffensives, thousands of Ukrainians welcomed their defenders after months of resistance — and three years later, millions more are still waiting for their turn to celebrate.
In this video, we show how Ukrainians across the country marked the end of occupation — and why none of those trapped under Russian control can be left behind.

Since the full-scale invasion began, supporting our team and gathering donations has become more challenging as we, like everyone else in Ukraine, focus on fundraising for our defenders. Now, we turn to you—the international community and supporters of Ukraine—to help us continue producing vital stories that not only support Ukraine’s fight against invasion but also remind the world of the value of freedom.

That was beautiful, good night Kyiv, and Glory to Ukraine.❤️🇺🇦
Ukrain still needs military and food aid, but when you have a population that is so invested in furthering their country for the younger generations. Generations that shouldn’t ever have to live through a Russian occupation as their parents and grandparents have suffered under.
The Ukrainian people are still struggling to clean up the corruption that was so prevalent and insidious under the Russian boot.
Things in Ukrain are far from perfect, but the spirit this old lady holds is a far stronger bond than anything created by force, fear, and violence.
People in the west will forget about Ukrainians in EVERY LAST PIECE OF UKRAINE unless and until russia goes the fuck home over my dead body. I am easily the most annoying person I know about this subject, and I Do Not Care.
🇺🇦 !
Does anyone have the link to the video the lady at 1:17 is referring too? She says shes internet famous for when AFU and Georgian forces came to liberate her village from the Russians.
I remember some of those videos from liberation!! I think it’s fitting that I’m eating cherries and watermelon while watching!! Glory to Ukraine Glory to her heroes 💙💛🇺🇦
Never give up, never give in!🇺🇦
