1. Democracy working! These councillors have listened to their people, who have told them they’ve had enough of their children being ogled and abused.

6. I’ve got a friend who is from Ghana hard working and helps everyone if you ask him. His visa got rejected as he was missing some points now he have to leave his 2 months pregnant wife with mortgage payments for 4 years until he will be able to apply for visa again. Where is logic there? If you arrive on boat you get accommodation food and even money for whatever you want. This place is doomed. You got nothing but abuse from those “refugees” and yet you waste millions on them.

8. We should be adopting Bulgarias policy which is simple, deport as soon as you arrive (within 72 hours) if you feel this is unjustified you can appeal via your country of origin when you arrive back.

But when your government is barreling full speed towards 1984 hand in hand with Palantir, this just seems like a distraction considering how these outlets are flooding us with it and strangely don’t mention what the government is doing to your rights. Convenient for the government I guess if everyone stays mad at migrants while they rob you more and more.

10. The hotel owner will be devastated, it’s such a good screw for them. Somewhat disingenuous to not to mention this is an inherited situation from the previous Government.

11. According to the article, the Labour govt has closed nearly half of these hotels since coming to power. That sounds pretty good actually!

12. Absolute bollocks – the Whitbreads were all for the Bell Hotel in Epping being used for asylum seekers. They continuously claimed crime wasn’t an issue and that it’ll be better than allocating housing stock, all while saying Epping is a welcoming community and continuously mentioned the last point when any criticism happened (this isn’t the Epping we want to portray etc etc).

    The Epping Forest Council minutes, which are widely accessible for anyone interested, shows Holly Whitbread stating all of the above.

    The only reason they’ve changed tact is because they’ve realised it’s more popular to now go against the Bell Hotel. They’re populist, career politician chancers, which is hardly surprising given the nepotism as they nearly always vote the same way – two votes for one.

    Those two are two-faced opportunistic chancers, who are so disingenuous, that I had to look twice to see if the photo The Express used was of them or the back of their heads.

13. Good for them but everyone knows the only proper solution is going to be remigration like in the USA.

    The current uniparty/ political class of Blairite fabians would rather see women/girls at risk than do that so they will be removed at the ballot box/next election.

    My view is, the councillors and government officials who put these individuals in our communities they should be held as accessories to the crimes these people commit.
