I finished my apprenticeship in the worst job market for my field in decades and the entire course got revamped right after i left. A good part of what I’ve learned is probably already obsolete and I’ve been on welfare for a couple years
I would gladly do another apprenticeship in a more economically viable field if I could at least pay my rent with an apprentices salary but that’s not the case. And my rent is cheap as fuck for switzerland

This is an article that can only come from a lobby organisation – the tenor: we need more foreign skilled workers… there is a reason for the unfilled apprenticeships… And in the same breath it warns of 100,000 jobs in danger – because of the tariffs. This is not journalism, this is greed-lobby driven propaganda!
