  1. >Tory Jacob Rees-Mogg tonight told Andrew Marr to “get a sense of perspective” after he opened up about his dad’s death while Boris Johnson partied.
    >
    >In an extraordinary clash, the Cabinet minister stood by his claim that Partygate was “fluff” even after the broadcasting veteran revealed his “intense anger”.
    >
    >Mr Marr – who presents the LBC show Tonight with Andrew Marr after leaving a 21-year BBC stint last year – said: “I buried my father on the week that one of those parties took place and it was a party.
    >
    >“He was an elder of the Church of Scotland – that church was locked and barred.
    >
    >“We had a small gathering, most of the family weren’t there. The other parishioners he would have loved to be there weren’t allowed to be there because we followed the rules.
    >
    >“And I felt intensely angry about that – and I do not regard this as fluff.”

  2. This man who claims to be Christian yet shows no compassion for others. Disgraceful, the only type of person Jesus ever came close to hating was religious hypocrites.

  3. That much of a prick you’ve got me siding with Marr, I’d call it cartoon villainy and but sadly he really does exist.

  4. The word “cunt” isn’t anywhere *near* nasty enough for this disgusting, vile, callous, soulless, heartless, greedy, smug, holier-than-thou, toffee nosed little piece of absolute fucking dogshit.

  5. When JRM inevitably gets sent to hell I hope Satan himself sentences him to an eternity of stepping on plugs. Prick.

  6. The reason why Mogg is defensive- he had no intention of following the rules. Rules are for others to follow

  7. Just your daily reminder that if you think this guy is a *****, remember a large portion of the country support him and his party and everything that he stands for, and everything he is saying here.

  8. There are some truly horrible people that exist and I really believe he is one of them. I want to see the good in most but he’s not one of them.

  9. They don’t see you as relelvant to their interests and cares as much.

Do not forget this when voting time comes around!

  10. Not saying he’s a total cunt, but as an atheist, he makes me wish that I was a Christian so I could at least console myself with the lovely idea that he’d be burning in hell for all eternity.

    Did I mention that he’s a cunt?

  11. >The Brexit opportunities minister said: “What is happening now two years on against what’s going on in Ukraine, what is going on with the cost of living crisis, one has to get a sense of perspective.

    >“What is going on in Ukraine is fundamental to the security of the Western world.

Opportunities minister is apropos indeed for someone so opportunistic… It’s deeply uncomfortable how willing they are to use the suffering, torture, and murder of two people as a way to deflect from their own failings.

Yes, the war in Ukraine is a huge issue. But we’ve *never* had to focus strictly on only one issue at a time.

But it’s not about the security issue or human suffering for them, is it? It’s all about what they can get out of it, what they can use it for, and it makes me feel ill.

  12. The guy is about as far removed from the ‘average’ person as is humanly possible – and yet he somehow seems to think that we should listen to his entitled opinion.

  13. Rees-Mogg is a detestable worm. Even the people who go to his church for Latin Mass think he’s an absolute cunt cause he lets his numerous and beligerent spawn run amok around the church while everyone is trying to fucking pray.

  14. This makes so much more sense when you realise Mogg, and every single one of Johnson’s staunchest cabinet supporters, have been promised a peerage in the House of Lords or whatever gong they fancy

  15. Can we all agree that when JRM dies (and sooner rather than later, hopefully), there’s going to be no crocodile tears; no “thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time”; and most importantly no virtue-signalling about speaking ill of the dead.

He will not be missed. He better hope when he dies he gets cremated rather than buried because there’ll be queues longer than the lorries on the M20 of people waiting to take a huge steaming shit on his grave.

The next time he makes some fucking metaphor about the 1650s or whatever that someone verbally (or physically) slaps him and remind him this *isn’t* the fucking Georgian Era. This is 2022. But I can see why he has a fixation with the 1650s – The ruling monarch at the time was Charles II, and for all his bravado the fact is that Charles II famously hid in a tree to avoid a battle, revealing the cowardly nature that lay underneath.

Maybe JRM resonates with that. Who knows?

  16. The ever evolving Tory response to partygate is almost perfectly in line with “The Narcissist’s Prayer”

*That didn’t happen. And if it did, it wasn’t that bad. And if it was, that’s not a big deal. And if it is, that’s not my fault. And if it was, I didn’t mean it. And if I did, you deserved it.*
