On August 17, Russian forces shelled Donetsk region, using Geran-2 UAVs against the private sector of the city of Dobropillya. The attack’s consequences were tragic: a 44-year-old man was killed, and another 33-year-old civilian was wounded. Also, a 64-year-old resident of the village of Drobyshive in the Lyman community was injured by the FPV drone strike – diagnosed mine-blast injury, shrapnel wounds, and contusions.

In the Bilozersky District, a 35-year-old man was injured: diagnosed with a mine-blast injury, facial and neck wounds after an FPV drone struck a car.

According to collected materials, the prosecutor’s office opened a pre-trial investigation under Part 1, Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – a war crime. The proceedings are ongoing, and the materials have been forwarded for further investigation.
