Hamas rejects Israel’s Gaza relocation plan

2. Is it really up to them, though? If people in Gaza want to leave, can Hamas do anything about it? I wouldn’t think so, unless they somehow attack people trying to relocate.

   Edit: I’m literally only advocating for people to be allowed to leave the strip if they *want* to, which a number have already. That’s it. The fact that even that is getting downvoted says a lot about this sub.

3. I don’t know why they will accept going from one shitty situation to another, but if I was in their place, I will suggest relocation to Europe or USA and let the chaos ensue, and test the limit of their influce.

4. As they should. Why would they willingly allow Israel to displace them from their Palestinian homeland? Ethnic displacement is just another part of ethnic cleansing.

5. Israeli Channel 12 aired a leaked recording of former Military Intelligence Major General (retired) Aharon Haliva openly admitting the intentional massive deaths of Palestinian civilians in Gaza as a deliberate policy message.

   “For every person killed on Oct. 7, 50 Palestinians must die,” Haliva said in the tapes, calling the staggering death toll “necessary for future generations”. He continued by stating that “they need a Nakba every now and then to feel the price,” in reference to the 1948 mass displacement of Palestinians.

6. Again, no one’s read the article and are judging it based off of the title. This isn’t referring to the ethnic cleansing to South Sudan or anywhere else (which they should reject) as that hasn’t actually been proposed yet. It’s referring to evacuations from Gaza city to more (not-so) safe zones before the IDF go in.

   If I remember right, Hamas have been opposed to every evacuation that the IDF has proposed. It’s somewhat insane to me that the side killing the Gazans has issued more evacuations than their own government. (I don’t recall Hamas having issued any).
