The Latvian Ministry of Defence said on August 14th that the first ever academic book on cybersecurity in Latvia has been published.
Titled “Cybersecurity in Latvia: Forging Resilience amidst Emerging Threats”, the English-language tome was created with the participation of experts from the Ministry of Defence and national cybersecurity agency CERT.LV , as well as other Latvian and foreign researchers and experts.
The collective monograph is described as the most extensive study and the first scientific book on cybersecurity in Latvia. It analyzes the Latvian cybersecurity ecosystem, its processes, challenges, and future prospects, using methods from both the exact and social sciences.
The book is published by the international publishing house Routledge, in its series “Studies in Conflict, Security and Technology ”, and serves as a resource for policymakers, researchers and cybersecurity experts. The book can be downloaded for free here.
The book will be presented at the international technology forum “2025 Techritory Forum” on October 22nd and 23rd this year.
