Which is amusing.
I have to disagree with a lot of people in the comments here. Entirely possible, as some people in the comments have said, that this post could have been made by an American who’s trying to make the UK look worse, and by extension themself look better.
But if you can park such concerns for a second, people really have been arrested for complaining in this country. Literally hundreds of people were arrested for peacefully protesting in Parliament square this month.

You might not agree with them, and that’s okay. But they were arrested for a peaceful protest. That is an erosion of free speech. Would love to hear other people’s views.
