  1. He’s totally Scottish. He couldn’t sound any more Scottish if he was dubbed with the voices of Jack and victor and Boaby from the clansman

  2. Why are Americans like this? It’s so fucking weird.

  3. The constant intellectual masturbation here is kinda funny, how many times do you lot have to talk about this lol? Yes, Americans think in terms of race and ethnicity, and, ethnically, many Americans may very well be more Scottish than this fellow. Contemporary cultures and nationhood is obviously something else entirely

  4. That’s a world champion racist there.

I hope people do horrible things to him if he plays Minecraft

  5. One of us, one of us, one of us… it’s always nice to see genuine Scots get defended against the plastic Jocks!

  6. Shitheads are so creative in ways to show they’re racist.

  7. America’s entire culture and systems of government is set up around the false 19th century theory of “scientific racism”, and it infects the planet.

They only started to finally outlaw human slavery on these terms two years before Queen’s Park Football Club was founded, legally segregating their country for another 100 years. [Andrew Watson](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Watson_(footballer,_born_1856)) was born before this and was playing for Queen’s Park and for Scotland a mere 15 years after.

  8. this guy has a super thick glasgow accent and yet some random, pasty white american who has never left the US named brad doesn’t believe he’s scottish

  9. Thing about this whole situations is yeah, Black people are only 1.2% of the Scottish population, and even less than that will be adults who have grown up in Scotland and have thick Scottish accents, so it’s not unusual that many people haven’t seen a Black Scottish person before

But why are they so unable to be normal about it? Why have they needed to turn it into a whole Thing that people keep making tiktoks or tweets about? Weird behaviour, even before you get to the “I’m more Scottish than the Scotch” brigade

  10. Most Americans are mutts like myself, last full Scots in my family were my great great great grandparents the Beatties. Since then there’s been polish, German, Irish and French added to my family, no American is fully one thing or another 🤣

  11. This reminds me of a story a flatmate told me about his dad.

He used to word as a sports journalist and at one point was interviewing this Irish American boxing trainer who started ranting at him that the British should get out of Ireland. His dad responded by pointing out he was probably more Irish than him, since his grandad was from Derry. After that the trainer got so apoplectic that he had abandon the interview.

  12. so I’m a black scot, my mother’s a black scot, my granddad’s a black scot, you get it, and I live in america and I’ve really noticed white people here really want scotland to be so much more racist than it is. so many swear up and down I’m not really scottish, but by their own metric I’m way more scottish than any white american of scottish descent. that’s not to say scotland is necessarily a beacon of anti racism (my granddad loves going on about immigrants), but still, if they did ever visit, they’d be shocked at the lack of it

  13. I wanted to find his tweet to noise his racist ass up but I was scrolling for about ten minutes and I was still only on tweets from two days ago. What a sad little life.

  14. I get the guys Tiktoks all the time and he’s amazing. Deep as fuck voice, absolutely nothing put on, just a class guy with good patter and needs absolutely nae hauners when dealing with the racists. ONE OF US, ONE OF US.

  15. Wait until he finds out that many African Americans have scottish last names because they were owned by scottish slave traders living in North America and often are descendants of those slave traders. They very likely are more scottish than he is.

  16. Wait until they find out that Asian Scottish exist. The former first minister was one.
