I get that it’s a very unfunny, ridiculous thing to do, but why the trial etc?
It will be nice when a populist government comes into power and deems whichever phrases they want to as “grossly offensive”.
Just like Russia has done, freely allowed to imprison any citizen that calls the war in Ukraine a war, rather than a “special operation”.

The number of people arrested for the actual building burning down and killing 72 people:

Terrible video but should not be a crime. Causing 70? People to burn to death is fine, but joking about it is illegal and you will be sentenced. The courts are disgusting, our laws are increasingly prohibitive and just a sword that protects companies and the rich, and cuts down the poor. ( poor being anybody not in the tens of millions worth)
Can anyone explain how allowing the prosecution to appeal a not guilty verdict is consistent with the principle of double jeopardy (which still applies in the UK in most cases)?
