I hate how ALL cafeterias think the f*ing “Erbs&Rüebli”-can is a good thing to serve. It’s really the grossest out of all vegetable choices. Give me spinache, give me brocoli, give me beans but that way too sour mush is not food.

What’s the round thing under the onions?
To be honest barring the lazy peas and carrots combo I’d happily eat that for lunch right now
American here in Switzerland. I see Rösti, peas, carrots and kidney beans with sauce. And what looks like apple juice. Can’t identify the round patty that has the beans and sauce on it. Can someone weigh in on that?

As a french student, I am worried about one thing, where is the bread ??

I always loved the school Food we had a Restaurant that delivered the Food and it was always high quality 👍🏼
Ah SV Restaurants owned cantine – not great, not bad – fair enough.
I’m horrified by the huge sugary plastic-wrapped beverage, water would be much better. But the plate looks sort of OK.
If you have “Fourchette verte” usually there are more vegetables I think.
I dunno. Looks kind’ve gross imo.
In Geneva the students succed to have vegetarian lunch for 5chf , with SV restaurant, try it to maybe you will only pay 5 chf. But that’s look better than the food in army hahaha

We have school lunch in switzerland?
I dunno. My kid comes home everyday for lunch, so she eats everything from udon with roast duck to pasta with red sauce to sandwiches to pizza to curry to previous night’s steak and salad.
Cooking at home isn’t so bad. Especially at the price for that canteen lunch.
Hold up, where is the burger with 3000 calories ? This is fake news right here :))) Respect for the Swiss people for giving a shit about their children
