  37. I so miss basic decorum, integrity, and the ability to contain oneself, that we enjoyed with every single other President. How his followers can’t Sony basic pattern recognition, logic, behavioral profiling, to see through the constant stupidity, is mind blowing. Well, no, actually it’s not. It’s actually quite easy to see, since they ask only live in echo chambers, only consume information from compromised sources, influencers, podcasters, radio shows, talking heads, that are all on the payroll and beneficial end of being propagandists, for the very people profiting from destroying everyone else’s futures and lives.

    The moment basic literacy in science, civics, economics, business, how anything actually works and functions, started falling in the American population, we were doomed to this outcome. It’s not so much the severity of ignorance that’s so easy to manipulate, it’s the sheer laziness that accompanies it. When people have either been convinced not to look at or trust other information, distrust the foundations of the scientific method, distrust the pillars this country was founded upon, and doing a basic Google search, spending five seconds to see if a claim is even remotely possible, that’s what’s so easy to manipulate.
    Things either are or aren’t. There’s no in between, no gray area. Things are true, and evidence supports it,or it doesn’t, and it’s a lie. Trump nor his ilk can ever back up anything with hard facts, empirical data, peer reviewed studies, results…etc. that’s why they continually assault and tear down institutions that threatens their spin, fantasies, delusions. That’s why they can’t provide current factual data, have to dishonestly edit things to barely back up any claim,or rely heavily on propagandists, social media algorithms, dishonest data mining save targeting of those most susceptible to trashy reality TV politics, and outrage culture wars.

    I don’t know about anyone else, but I wholly miss basic sanity, human decency, quiet composure, and the age when people actually cared about oaths, serving the people as a civil servant, respecting what the presidency used to mean, instead of watching it devolve into a garage sale and infomercial to oligarchs and autocrats. Watching the societal effects, has made me lose all hope in humanity, our chances of ever escaping extinction,or ever reaching a point of exploring space. Instead, we’ll keep repeating the same cyclical patterns over and over, circling the drain, until there’s nothing left of us to save. It’s heartbreaking to see how many harbored such hatred for others, such superiority complexes, complete and utter lack of empathy, responsibility,or remotely caring about the world that we build for and leave to our children. We instead mortgaged their futures, so a handful of people can have everything, now, while everyone else squabbles,or fights tooth and nail to remain indentured servants, enslaved to a system that has been reworked to take everything from us.
