I remember a little bit ago when we heard we’d be taking such a large amount of refugees in; people were saying “sure we can hardly house our own people, how can we possibly accommodate all these refugees?!” And the amount of virtue signalling tools on this sub who said “Sure, we will figure it out, it doesn’t matter how we do it, we can’t just not let them in, how ignorant of you.. etc, etc”. Now, reading the sub, the common takeaway is how poorly this was handled by the government and they should have planned this out more. Now, yes, the government should have planned this out and put a cap on refugees we can house.. but it was YOU tools on this sub who insisted “we will figure it out” and anyone who tried to be logical you labelled ignorant.. can’t blame an idiotic government if it’s population is just as stupid.
Should of took that few billion from the multinationals and built some houses
Just seize some Russian Oligarch’s money to pay for Ukrainian refugees.
You could get drug addicts and criminals who just want the money and only pretend to care for refugees.
Block book hotels, use reception rooms as creches, classroom, nurses visits, give the refugees laundry and kitchen facilities etc.
Ukrainian refugees are better with each other.
They will feel awkward and obliged in someone’s home.
