How is the Hazelnut Liquor consumed normally? Is it as good as it sounds?

  1. I’ve mostly had it just as a shot. At least when going out, but I’m sure there’s also plenty of cocktail recipes with it. And yeah, it’s really good.

  2. Likör does not translate to liquor. It means liqueur. So it will be very sweet. Liquor would be called Schnaps or Brand.

I have no idea how it is consumed normally, but it is quite good with coffee cocktails.

  3. It probably IS as good as it sounds, but that’s because it sounds absolutely revolting, at least to consume neat.

Most likely it’s a sort of Frangelico knock-off and should be used in minute quantities in cocktails.

  4. Hazenut Liquer is great. But there are quite big differences between them. The cheaper ones can be quite bad. I like Frangelico.
