Full, independent investigation into how much the family knew about his actions and if they took steps to protect him
The full list of charges, expanded to include 9 additional charges from the end of the police investigation roughly 2 months ago:
* 4 rapes, all of them sleep rapes that he recorded. He also explicitly filmed the nether regions of all of the women, as well as others, which he has also been charged with.
* 5 counts of traffic violations.
* Death threats (I believe he plead guilty to this).
* Police interference.
* And various charges of abusing exes, among them the Frogner woman who lit the match of this powder keg and influencer Nora Haukland who’s been very open about this, both of them explicitly mentioned during the indictment.

Judging by the press release from stepdad and his mom about getting him the help he needs, I’m kind of shocked there aren’t more charges.
I sent the indictment to a couple of friends, and one of them said “bro doesn’t need prosecution, he needs the SWAT entry team”.
From two-digit number of rapes down to only 4. Too bad he won’t get what he actually deserves. What also bothers me is how are Norwegians tolerating all this bs.
One of the rapes was in November 2024, which is AFTER he came under investigation and was arrested in August and September. That’s just insane.
Hopefully he actually goes to prison over this.
Haakon and Mette-Marit should be investigated next. The police shouldn’t have easily dismissed Mette-Marit’s involvement with covering up her son’s crimes.
I don’t know the ins and outs, but wouldn’t Høiby have some security guys following him around and after the first couple of accusations wouldn’t they be charged with STOPPING HIM FROM CRIMING?
Do Royal security personnel ever get indicted for allowing crimes to happen while they watch or for failing to report crimes they’re aware of? (Question applies to Prince Andrew too.)
Would abdication be on the table? Is Elisabeth old enough to ascend?
Norway is a mess with the RF. Between this (obviously more serious) & Princess Martha, I feel so bad for Haakon. He seems so genuine, nice, smart & unassuming. And king harad & queen sonja are some of my favorites.
