Sweden asks European Union to ban cryptocurrency mining in Europe – Digest Time Tags:Europe 8 comments I sincerely hope EU will tell Sweden to get f…ed. Is that really an issue? There’s basically no way to mine crypto at european energy prices. I recently calculated mining crypto with pv-power….still not really viable. I can’t imagine the EU would do this. It would give the UK far more trade in financial services. Digging for gold also wastes energy, disrupts ecosystems and provides no tangible good for society as most of gold just sits in vaults. Achieving carbon neutrality isn’t about what energy is used for, it’s about how energy is made and what engines for cars and machines are permited. dew it! Why? What’s wrong with Sweden? Repost. That’s great news for non PoW blockchains! Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
