Two area high school softball teams will be honored by the Manitowoc County Board of Supervisors.
The board will make a proclamation for both the Denmark Vikings and Mishicot Indians state softball teams after they took home state trophies back in June.
The Indians won the Division 4 state title while the Vikings won the Division 2 state championship.
Denmark’s Head Coach, Todd O’Brien, will also be congratulated for earning Coach of the Year.
Mishicot finished their season 27-3 overall with almost 300 hits (298), 209 RBIs, and an ERA of 0.23.
Denmark ended their season at 25-7 overall with an ERA of 1.00.
The Board meeting will be held in the Heritage Center on Michigan Avenue in Manitowoc tomorrow (August 19th) starting at 6:00 p.m.
