In theories about the collapse of empires, language degradation often appears as a symptom or even a contributing factor to decline, rather than a direct cause. While not a primary driver of collapse, the deterioration or loss of a unifying language can be linked to broader issues like social fragmentation, loss of civic virtue, and weakening central authority.
Edit: I’ve read Petronius, I dislike the alphabet community and all the imaginary genders, language is used to lie and beat around the bush instead of being straight forward, buzz words are a common trend and many of the answers I get prove to me that redditors are hated and hide their identity behind anonimity for a good reason. I will not delete this post so you can keep downvoting to your keyboard warriors, virtue signaling hearts content if it makes you feel any better but this is my feeling and I stand by what I see and think.
I can understand portmanteau and abbreviations coming into use and requiring defining, but cannot get my head around a word without definition in the dictionary.
If skibidi doesn’t have any real meaning why put it in? Isn’t it just a sound that can be written?
