1. It’s cool that my wife’s one person small business pays more in taxes than SpaceX.

2. If I’m going to be mad at a space company…I’ll be mad at the legacy companies that continually suck up federal money and don’t actually deliver ANYTHING. At least spaceX actually gets stuff to space for the government and at a much lower price.

3. Doesn’t every individual also have the ability to carry forward losses from previous years?

4. Do the idiots on this sub not understand the difference between revenue and profit? We tax profits. We do not tax revenue.

5. I am not an Elon musk apologist or fan boy.

   I do not think billionaires should exist, simply bc it’s impossible to spend that much money satisfying wants and needs under ordinary circumstances.

   Of that $8B of revenue, how much is paid out in payroll? And then, how much of the worker pay gets taxed? (Does TX have an income tax?)

   Would the value of labor in TX go up or down if SpaceX left TX?

   The tertiary effects of SpaceX employees spending their salaries, does it increase or decrease the sales of local businesses?
