Just do it. The YouTube ad blocker blocker ordeal two years ago had successfully cured my doom scrolling and watching on YT and pushed my media consumption back to books and DVDs in local libraries.
The Internet had already enshittified enough, I see being forced to turn to analogue media for information consumption as an absolute win.

How about that? Whenever I’m temporary without an adblocker, it’s shocking to see how many ads are straight up scams like bank phishing.

People tend to say “the law is the law” and the judges only apply it. The fact is the law is sometimes not made to answer precisely to every situation giving judges the power to do whatever they want like this stupidity.
