THE European Union is preparing a 19th package of sanctions against Russia as the war in Ukraine passes three and a half years.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said the new measures will be introduced in early September. She made the announcement during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Brussels.
