    The mass extinction is already in progress.

  2. We’re already in another mass extinction since the end of the ice age, just look at how many animals have gone extinct between 12,000 years ago to now and you’ll see it’s already on its way. I doubt it’ll be on the scale of the later Permian extinction but possibly more on scale of other extinction events. Life on earth was here before us and it’ll be here long after us.
