I’m sure they will be happy you posted this on Reddit for Internet points.
Apparently Eemeli Peltonen, 30. Jesus.
Three years younger than for example Juha Vikatmaa, who had lived an insane life by that time.
Rest in peace.

That’s so sad.
Damn he’s 30 same age as me. He’s probably dead inside long time ago. RIP
Should go without saying that this is a tragedy – I hope however that the incident can bring mental health and self-harm into discussion more, especially with the current healthcare issues we are facing. The recent and planned cuts affect everyone’s ability to seek help and resources, or get the treatment they deserve.
Incidents like this should remind everyone that nobody is safe from mental health issues or suicidality, no matter their socioeconomic status or political standing.
Before they possibly close shop (as funding is planned to be cut), people should utilise helplines and urgent care if they are having thoughts of harming themselves. The national English MIELI ry helpline is 09 2525 0116 (-“- 0111 for Finnish, -”- 0112 for Swedish).
I understood Parliament members were on summer leave until September, so why go to your place of work to do this? I wonder if it wasn’t with some sort of deeper meaning.
But in any case, he was well liked and it’s a tragedy. May he rest in peace.
