MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – An illegal immigrant is charged in connection to raping a child under 12-years-old.
According to court records, 36-year-old Jesus Rosas-Temoxtle was charged on Aug. 19.
The documents show the crime happened in 2012.
Fairhope police tell me the victim recently came forward and reported the crime.
This isn’t the first time Temoxtle has been put behind bars. In April, jail records show he was booked into metro on an immigration hold. Two days later he was moved to the Baldwin County jail.

Court records show Temoxtle got a traffic ticket in 2008 for not having a driver’s license and the ticket shows he didn’t have a social security number either.
In 2018, documents show he was found guilty of stealing construction equipment from a building company. According to a protection from abuse petition which was later dismissed, Temoxtle was deported in 2018 and re-entered the country illegally in 2019.
I’ve reached out to homeland security to find out more about Temoxtle’s background.
We’ll certainly let you know what we find out.
