On August 16, at around 21:30, FPV drones operated by UA_REG struck a military vehicle on the Rylsk-Khomutovka highway. According to reports, the vehicle with the military license plate 9828 RM was carrying Lieutenant General Esedulla Abachev, commander of the Northern Military District.

1. Reports/rumors are that he survived but lost an arm and a leg in the ordeal. Probably an apt simile for Russia at the end of this war.
