  11. This is an interesting thread. I’m in NY, and I see girls from 18-25 getting surgeries and lip fillers, yet I don’t know any guys who like lip fillers. Hollywood might set the standard and it’s men setting it, but it must be women who like the way the lips look, right?

  17. I’m a man. A straight man. I don’t find the plastic look attractive whatsoever. I don’t know any other men who find it attractive. Pretty sure all us straight guys assumed that the plastic filler was like fashion, women doing it for themselves and each other for some weird reason while we all watch in horror and fascination.

  22. best advice anyone should give: don’t ever do cosmetic surgeries to appeal to others, only if its what you want (without pressure from others) is it worth it. If people want you to undergo surgery just so you fit their standard of beauty, then they aren’t worth appealing to.

  25. I honestly just feel bad for these women that feel the need to do this. She honestly now looks like a middle aged housewife, not a 35 year old woman.

    There’s nothing wrong with getting plastic surgery, but I think there needs to be more responsibility put on plastic surgeons to discourage needless plastic surgery that makes these women look worse. There should be more mental health professionals available to them. 

    Like, I completely get a person, as I shouldn’t limit this to just women, may want surgery for their nose, or an older person to get a face lift, but this type of stuff is on an entirely other level.

  26. I can only speak for myself, but I can’t think of a single time I thought one of these ladies looked better in the after. I always feel so sad for the beautiful women/sometimes girls I see in the before pics. She was so lovely and did not even appreciate herself.
