  3. Fox news went on this wierd tirade where they were saying that the way Newsom is talking is unbecoming of a leader, and that he should smarten up if he has any aspirations of a higher office, and that if she was Newsom’s wife, she would be telling her man to behave himself.

    I am convinced they do not… not see the irony, and its just rage bait. No one can be that regarded.

    California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s social media account mimicking Donald Trump’s all-caps online posts is getting under the skin of prominent conservatives on the right.

    The reaction to Newsom’s pitch-perfect parody of Trump — including his wild rants, name-calling, and use of AI-generated images — is shining a light on the absurd behavior of the president of the United States, who has largely gotten a pass from his party for doing the same thing.

    “You have to stop it with the Twitter thing,” Fox News host Dana Perino said Monday of the potential 2028 Democratic presidential contender. “If I were his wife, I would say: You are making a fool of yourself, stop it. … He’s got a big job as governor of California, but if he wants an even bigger job, he has to be a little more serious.”

    “I don’t know what he’s trying to do but it comes across as childish and — you are the governor of the biggest state in the union — what are you doing?” added Fox News host Trace Gallagher.

    For years, and often in the middle of the night, Trump has posted screeds against his perceived enemies on his social media website Truth Social, hurling invectives and sharing conspiracies once considered unthinkable for an American president. His critics have repeatedly accused the media of normalizing the bizarre posts and “sanewashing” his language online.

    Newsom’s team is trying a different approach — one that’s earned the governor praise from the Democratic base and lots of eyeballs.

    The right really fucked the left when they wouldn’t let Garland be confirmed, and now we have a right majority when the right nominated a judge under Trump under the exact same circumstances they wouldn’t let Obama do under, and now Trump is taking full advantage of a packed court (and not only that, he is attacking left judges such as Boasberg). So when/if the left ever get’s in power (and survives this mid term disaster that is pre unfolding with Texas and California), we best not forget, and never ever let the right have a podium of civility again. We need to have balls of steel. Block their every move and become the new party of obstruction and hopefully watch them die from their inability to gerrymander their way into office ever again.

    America, don’t forget this moment. Because it might be your last chance to remember. The GOP has a stronger long game, and the left needs to adopt similar tactics. In fact, we should just do away with gerrymandering all together, and that would seriously fuck the right. Because on it’s face, democratic policies win every time. The only party that has ever tried to balance the budget that I can remember, was Clinton.

  37. A journalist actually asked Newsom why he was talking like that and if it was appropriate and if he was mocking the president. His response was to simply question why they suddenly care about how he’s talking when Trump has been talking like that for at least the last decade.
