If you’re really trying to succeed try a 0$ profit salary until it actually starts to roll, dunce.
Why do taxpayers have to bail out this failed company; surely it has assets etc that could be used?
Pretty harsh to label it a failed firm when we forced them to sell gas cheaper than what they were buying it for.
Coming from the BBC, lol. Pay up now or we’ll see you in court, Lineker needs his next million
>”I think I and we at Bulb…should take responsibility for how the business failed.”
What does that look like? How about not charging the tax payer £250k a year to clean up the mess you made?
They take wotever they want from my account they lie deceive talk bollocks ..hes a cunt fuck him
Annoyingly Jake Brown who owned Avro Energy is buried in the article.
That snake gave “loans” from the business to family members. So basically customers money taken out of the business onto his family. Doubt any of that has been retrieved and they have a very comfortable life thanks to those loans now.
Bulb collapsed late last year and was placed into “special administration”, being run by the government through regulator Ofgem until a buyer is found.
So it’s being run by the government? What’s happening to all the profit? Even though it’s costing us £3billion quid surely all that money should be going back to the government?
Also why is this guy getting 250k for “customer service”? Sounds like a 25k job to me
Bosses like him might need to be careful in the future. People are not going to believe their excuses anymore, not with an unprecedented increase in bills and cost of living generally. People are going to get angry with the fat cats who are pocketing six or seven figure sums for failing. With a recession on the cards, all that is needed is a spark for people to protest, strike and riot against large salaries such as his.
Can the Govt. not give all households (where possible) some solar panels and maybe other means of making their own supply of electric for free? We need enough electric to run a cooker though and TV and stuff, solar might be able to do it, i dunno, not sure how much solar would produce. I dont see why he has give himself 250 grand a year, not including fat bonuses i would say, unless he truly thinks he is worth that kind of money. Very very greedy IMHO.

By asking a payers to pay his salary of course!
> Boss of Bulb defends £250,000 salary
“if I wasn’t paid that much I wouldn’t be able to heat the house this winter.
