Ms Þórhildur Vígdögg Kristínardóttir Joins the EU Delegation to Iceland

A warm welcome to Ms Þórhildur Vígdögg Kristínardóttir who recently joined the EU Delegation as a Political, Press & Information Trainee.

Þórhildur Vígdögg Kristínardóttir recently graduated with a Master’s degree in International Relations and International Organization from the University of Groningen (RUG). Her focus areas included science and politics of food-systems, sustainability in European policy making, green energy, and international political economy.

She has extensive experience in journalism, cultural communication, and project management. She has also provided educational outreach on the situation of children living in poverty in the Nordic countries and has been actively involved in volunteer work for refugees through the Red Cross. Þórhildur holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on management from the University of Iceland.
