The Artipic Association announces the launch of the project “Cultural Bridges – Creativity Together,” funded by the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova (DRRM), an initiative aimed at facilitating access to Romanian art and urban culture for communities in Cimislia and Hartop, Republic of Moldova. The project, part of the Urban Art Caravan initiative, aims to strengthen Romanian cultural and linguistic identity and create close ties between Romania and the Republic of Moldova through art.

The project will take place between August 21 and 28, 2025, and includes a series of innovative cultural activities: the creation of three murals covering dozens of square meters, screenings of the documentary film “Why do they write on walls?”, fire juggling shows, graffiti and flow arts workshops, art exhibitions, and video mapping events.

These activities will introduce new forms of artistic expression into the targeted communities, encouraging the participation of hundreds of residents, especially children and young people, and involving multiple organizations from both countries.

The project “Cultural Bridges – Creativity Together” is organized by the Artipic Association, funded by the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova, and implemented in partnership with Urban Spirit Family, Cimislia City Hall, Cimislia Youth and Sports, Civic Hub Cimislia, Cimislia Youth Center, H-Top (Youth from Hartop), and the Hartop Multifunctional Socio-Cultural Center. It will beautify public spaces with murals painted by artists Harcea Pacea (Romania) and Dan Iovu (Republic of Moldova), which will remain landmarks for communities for at least five years.

The activities, their schedule, and how to sign up for the workshops are posted on the website  https://artipic.net/ , as well as on the Artipic Facebook page.

“We are dedicated to bringing art closer to people and creating cultural bridges between Romania and the Republic of Moldova. We invite the communities of Cimislia and Hartop to participate in our activities to discover the beauty of urban art and creative collaboration,” declared Ana Octavia Cîrdei – project manager.
