Poland’s industrial output rose 2.9% year-on-year in July 2025, exceeding market expectations of 1.6% and rebounding from a downwardly revised 0.4% fall in the previous month, as output increased in manufacturing (3.4% vs 0% in June).
At the same time, output declined at a softer pace in mining and quarrying (-6.7% vs -8.3%) and in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (-1.8% vs -6.7%).
On the other hand, production eased slightly in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (3.1% vs 3.2%).
On a monthly basis, industrial output rose 0.2% in July, reversing a downwardly revised 1.4% drop in June.
