Suits them right after what they did.
karma
As someone who grew up in Sudettenland in a house built by the exiled Germans, from a family displaced by the Nazis, I understand, but I strongly disapprove.
What happened after the war was no more deserved than what happened during it.
otazka
Justified and deserved.
Germans were treated too softly after the first world war, that is how they were able to start a second one.
Sending them home was part of civilizing the german culture, so that they would have to look into themselves – if they were allowed to stay, they would just try to threaten the Czechoslovak sovereignity again, blame others for their own flaws again.
As a Ukrainian it’s not for me to judge the Czech history, but I can very well relate to it.
We had a shit load of Russians “imported” into Crimea and Eastern Ukraine during Stalin period. And the same now happens on the occupied territories, first you murder the people that used to live there and then you bring people from deep parts of Russia.
The Germans did change after the war, and maybe in retrospect you might think that this was unjustified. But if I had a chance to deport all the Russians from occupied Ukraine now, I would do so without any hesitation. They deserve this. And I think post war Germans deserved this as well. They were the ones Hitler wanted to “protect” (what a coincidence in messaging with Russians *shocked pickachu face*), and they massively supported the annexation. And I think at that time, after two world wars driven by German imperialism, it was not given at all that Germans would change into peaceful nation it is today. Not to mention that a lot of Czechs had to leave those territories after annexation.
Zbytek rodiny šel dobrovolně do Bavorska.
