  1. I imagine if the real estate market stabilized from borderline insane to manageable that should bump this at least half a point. We’d be almost better of with US prices in some instances, which is crazy to realize.

  2. Polish answers:

    It’s decent = 8/10

    I don’t starve = 6/10

    Can’t complain = 11/10

  3. Poland, I would say no. Only elementary knowledgeable like ” don’t take loans unless you have to or you have a target you can afford to buy and repay with interest rate”

Ofc now I know that it is not the only thing but generally that is the most important + common sense

  4. I am in top ~3% in terms of salary, according to GUS. Am I satisfied? Kinda.
I’ve got enough money so I don’t need to worry about everyday expenses.
But it’s still not enough to own a house without 20 years of mortgage.
Not to mention, that I am not going to borrow ~500k, just to give back around 1 000 000 PLN.

It was easier and better for me, to buy a house in Finland (without mortgage, even) and live there on my Polish salary, than to try to do the same thing in Poland.
