I don’t know if he trolling or trying to look innocent ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Alaksandr Łukashenka greeted Poles on the occasion of their National Independence Day, his press service informed. Lukashenka believes in “rational dialogue” and “common pragmatic, unifying ideas”.
– Over the centuries, Belarusian-Polish cooperation has gained additional significance thanks to the invaluable combination of various interpersonal relations – said Lukashenka, quoted by the press service. The politician expressed his wishes for the “people of Poland” on behalf of the “peace-loving multiethnic people of Belarus and his own”.
Lukashenka expressed his wishes, writing about the age-old ties between our nations, the community of spiritual and cultural values, and good-neighborly contacts.
The Belarusian leader also expressed the conviction that despite “the political situation, brutal challenges and threats, through openness and rational dialogue, and an unbiased view of history and the present day, our nations are able to implement pragmatic, unifying ideas together.”
“Solidarity, Prosperity and Confidence of Tomorrow”
He added that “he is convinced that the principles of non-interference in internal affairs, important investment projects, and joint work in the international arena for stability and security will serve to truly strengthen the independence and sovereignty of our countries.”
Lukashenka wishes Poles “solidarity, prosperity and certainty of tomorrow”.
The wishes of the Belarusian leader coincided with the migration crisis on the border, which – according to the authorities of Poland, the EU and other Western countries – is inspired and controlled by the authorities in Minsk and has led to the most serious security threat in the region in recent times.
