Art provocateurs MC Myasnoi have a cult following in Reykjavík and occasionally appear at international showcase festivals abroad. Inland Shrines
Self-proclaimed “computer-music-to-dance” producer from Reykjavík will perform at Smekkleysa record shop. The artist’s latest album Disinformation Superhighway, balances Kraftwerk-esque motorik beats with hypnotic techno. Although the references are explicit, there is much more to Inland Shrines than just music to dance to.
Amor Vincit Omnia
The Latin expression amor vincit omnia means love conquers all. Having chosen it as a name for their project, the duo scored ten out of ten. Inspired by 80s pop (Kim Wilde comes to mind) and 70s disco, these sensual songs ignite a spark for dancing, flirting and, perhaps, even less innocent things.

Rebekka Blöndal and Kárl Olgeirsson
Singer Rebekka Blöndal and pianist and singer Karl Olgeirsson have worked together for years and their repertoire includes various jazz duets. Retro Stefson
During the Culture Night, visitors will see some iconic acts performing on Arnahóll, a hill near the central shopping street Laugavegur. Iceland’s beloved art-pop collective Retro Stefson is one of those. The band has been active since early 2000s, and their striking live shows are always accompanied by energetic dancing in the audience.
