Get the water companies to invest in bio digesters and either put the gas onto the domestic grid or burn in onsite generators and put that energy to power onsite equipment or to put onto the grid.
Make shite actually worth something and they won’t dump it.
It is an absolute joke to compare the UK to a country with less than half the population density.
Fine the water companies and prosecute the CEOs before anything else. Prevention is always better than cure after all. It will also be far easier to keep them clean in the future if company directors know it will be them with their arse on the line for not doing their bit to avoid large sewage dumps.
Not letting the Tories talk would probably put a lot of relief on our sewer system…
