This is hugely problematic because it reinforces gay stereotypes. It will lead to people assuming that guys are gay even if they aren’t and it will help to further stigmatise and repress the gay population.
The thing is, he’s probably not gay. Most blatant homophobic people aren’t actually gay, they are just A) not secure enough in their own heterosexuality to live with the fact that they might not be 100% “perfectly straight” as in the stereotype, which in itself is misogynistic or B) have their heads so deep in their own asses that they can’t think of another perspective on life as their own ideologically obstinate mindset.
Stop claiming that homophobes are gay. It suggests that gay people are causing their own problems and it’s extremely problematic.
