The male was taken into custody by Thames Valley Police’s rural crime unit as they patrolled Witney and Carterton.
They made the arrest last night – Thursday, August 21 to Friday, August 22 – after stop checking a vehicle.
After growing suspicious, they called immigration services and confirmed one man needed to be arrested for breaching “bail conditions”.

The immigration service will be interviewing him.
A spokesperson for police added: “Police constables Dollery and Woolley stop checked a vehicle in Witney this evening.
“A quick call to immigration showed one of the males needed to be arrested for breaching immigration bail conditions.

The police’s rural crime unit also performed a host of other duties last night.
These included searching two men under the misuse of drugs act and checking over three caravans moving in the area.

In addition, they inspected some plant machinery.
A spokesperson for police said: “Police constables Dollery and Woolley have patrolled Witney and Carterton during tonight’s shift.
“The officers have arrested a male for breaching immigration bail, searched two males under the Misuse of Drugs Act, examined some plant machinery and checked over three caravans seen on the move late at night.”
