    All public tours, including those for student groups, are on hold during the build of the 90,000-square-foot addition.

    The National Park Service has also removed its White House field trips page, replacing it with a message that reads: “This page is currently being worked on. Please check back later.”

  3. Oh that I can agree with.  I wouldn’t let my kid set foot in DC, let alone the White House.

    But also, how does one take kids on the Washington Trip and explain why the entire city is filled with military. That is the ANTITHESIS of everything we learn about our history and seat of government
