  1. So he’s not allowed to stay jsut because he’s gay it’s also becuase he has a son who was born here.

    Also having a wife and child doesn’t mean you can’t be gay, ask my lesbian mum who was married for 16 years and has 2 kids.

  4. International community needs to put pressure on Nigeria to improve it rights for LGBT a step in the right direction would be to decriminalize same sex relationships.

  7. How doesn’t anyone in the immigration service not just say “fuck off you are clearly lying”. I keep being told that they are vetted and that sensible and experienced people are reviewing these cases. Someone who was jailed, married to one woman and had a kid with another is not a gay angel deserving compassion. He is a straight criminal who should be on a plane. Is there really more to this case or just the usual judicial activism/stupidity?

    Edit: If it’s because he has a kid here then tough. That shouldn’t be a reason. Sorry for the kid but he can see his Dad in Nigeria.

  12. You don’t need a wife to claim asylum, this smells like alt-right bollocks. Speaking of bollocks, you’d have them cut off and fed to you for being Gay in Nigeria, making it a perfectly valid to claim asylum.

  15. So what if you are who you say you are? If that’s illegal in your country where you’ve come from, maybe you shouldn’t be committing crimes in the country you’re here claiming asylum for XYZ reason.
