€25 is silly should be free like RIP.ie was for years before they started charging. Make it free out own ads for dog related funeral stuff and then if it’s successful you can charge in a few years. Probably more than break even just promoting dog funeral stuff also
Eh, what do you get for your €25 annual fee? Seems odd.
Saying goodbye to your pets annually probably means you shouldn’t have pets. What am I missing?
Pat, Deirdre and family. Thinking of you all at this difficult time. -A Cork cat owner.
Is this your website?
What do you get for a €25 membership?
How many pets do people have die that they need an unlimited subscription to this?
Seems absolutely pointless to pay for something like this when you can post pictures of your pet for free in countless other places
Benny Harvey RIP
I get the feeling someone didn’t think this one all the way through.
>Standard (€25/year) includes one tribute with a photo and a short bio. It’s perfect for a simple, heartfelt remembrance.
>Premium (€60/year) allows you to add multiple photos and videos, an extended bio, and up to 8 YouTube videos. It’s ideal if you want to tell a fuller story with rich media.
>Platinum (€200/year) gives you the ability to create up to four Premium tributes — perfect for those who’ve loved more than one special companion. Each tribute gets its own gallery and extended features.
The prices are ridiculous but it’s a very well designed webpage in fairness.
It’s a nice idea but for all things, a subscription model isn’t a fit.
Also, the real value in RIP.ie besides the death notice is the funeral notice. Which again is a limitation here
Whiskers Murphy. 2020-2025
Died suddenly after a tragic accident with the hoover. Sadly missed by owners Jack, Ruby and Molly. Family Flowers only. Reposing in the brown bin on the footpath outside family residence from 9pm on Monday night before traditional removal by Mr Binman on Tuesday morning.
(P.s. for sale. One Gerbil cage with slightly unreliable door)
What’s the point and what is the USP? It’s easy to make a personalized reel or video on insta with easy access.
Some people really love to be looking at dead animals. Live animals are not good enough.
Could start a dedicated Reddit thread instead (for free)
People need to get a life
Finally!
Yes, let’s capitalise on losing pets. Truly warped
…Yay?
Oh dear lol
25 euro annual fee is so weird. How many pets do you think I have 🤣
My dog was a kind idiot for 15 years and he wouldn’t want me wasting 25 euro a year on a website
RIP.ie is primarily for people to get funeral details…do we seriously need this for pets?
